Ïã½¶Ö±²¥ compensation packages are designed to recruit, retain and reward talented team members. Benefits-eligible employees are automatically enrolled as members in the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), a statewide pension plan, with automatic contributions by Ïã½¶Ö±²¥.

RETIREMENT PLANS
Whether you’re just getting started or are revising your savings strategies, Ïã½¶Ö±²¥ is proud to offer a range of retirement options to help our team members build a secure financial future.
All benefits-eligible employees must participate in one of the two mandatory retirement plans (TRS or ORP). In addition, Ïã½¶Ö±²¥ team members have the option to participate in one or both of the voluntary retirement programs to contribute additional money towards retirement.
Leave
Ïã½¶Ö±²¥'s generous leave program includes a combination of many different types of paid leave. As a state agency, Ïã½¶Ö±²¥ observes a calendar of paid holidays annually, with 24 additional hours of holiday compensation time to be used according to the employee’s preferences. On top of that, team members accrue sick leave and vacation time each month and can carry forward these leave balances annually.
