Review F-1 Application Procedures
Prepare for Your Journey to Ï㽶ֱ²¥
Review the application requirements for F-1 international students, including financial documentation, Form I-20 funding, foreign transcript evaluations and proof of English proficiency.
International Student Health Insurance
Review Ï㽶ֱ²¥ health, evacuation and repatriation insurance requirements, coverage information and waiver eligibility for F-1 international students.
All students must obtain and maintain health insurance coverage that is Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliant while enrolled at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (Ï㽶ֱ²¥), except those enrolled in a 100% distance program. Per OP 77.19
Ï㽶ֱ²¥ requires all non-immigrant F-1 students to maintain health, evacuation and repatriation insurance in accordance with Ï㽶ֱ²¥ OP 77.03. F-1 students must enroll in the university-sponsored insurance plan unless they qualify for a waiver through a U.S. employer-sponsored plan provided by their employer, parent or spouse.
