All students must obtain and maintain health insurance coverage that is Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliant while enrolled at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯), except those enrolled in a 100% distance program. Per OP 77.19
Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ requires all non-immigrant F-1 students to maintain health, evacuation and repatriation insurance in accordance with Ογ½ΆΦ±²₯ OP 77.03. F-1 students must enroll in the university-sponsored insurance plan unless they qualify for a waiver through a U.S. employer-sponsored plan provided by their employer, parent or spouse.
