Ï㽶ֱ²¥

Dr. Wrennah Gabbert, who previously spent 10 years on Angelo State University’s nursing faculty, has returned to ASU as the new chair of the Nursing Department, effective June 1 for the upcoming fall semester.

A professional specialist in the ASU Nursing Department from 1997-2007, Gabbert has spent the last six years at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, filling various teaching and administrative posts at the Ï㽶ֱ²¥ School of Nursing in Lubbock and Ï㽶ֱ²¥ Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing in El Paso. Most recently, she served as a professor and the senior associate academic dean for the School of Nursing at the Ï㽶ֱ²¥ El Paso campus. At ASU, she will replace Dr. Susan Wilkinson as chair of the Nursing Department.
