SAN ANGELO – The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health (LWBIWH) at Angelo State University will host the “Day of the Woman” Expo from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 30 at the C.J. Davidson Conference Center at Angelo State University.

The event will be a day dedicated to health and wellness education for women of all ages. Nationally recognized women’s health physicians Marjorie Jenkins, M.D., executive director of the LWBIWH, and Holly Atkinson, M.D., award-winning medical journalist, TV host and author, will serve as keynote speakers. The day will also include multiple breakout sessions led by local and national experts and designed specifically for women. Session topics include: skin care, heart disease, holistic treatments and cancer.

The LWBIWH was established in 2007, and is dedicated to the cultivation and advancement of multidisciplinary science in women’s health, and to promoting the well-being of women through research, education and community outreach.
