Grand Opening for the Ï㽶ֱ²¥ Louise and Clay Wood Simulatoin Center
WHAT: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (Ï㽶ֱ²¥) at the Permian Basin and Medical Center Hospital will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Ï㽶ֱ²¥ Louise and Clay Wood Simulation Center.
WHEN: 10:45 a.m., Monday (Nov. 4)
WHERE: Medical Center Hospital, 7th Floor – West Wing, 500 W. 4th St., Odessa
EVENT: The 13,300-square-foot clinical simulation center will feature multi-modality simulation instruction areas include primary and acute care, a standardized patient program, simulation using advanced patient simulators and 3-D visualization.
Medical, nursing and physician assistant students from Ï㽶ֱ²¥ at the Permian Basin will use the state-of-the-art simulation facility. The center will also be utilized by other community health care professionals for training purposes.
